Beneath cold grey December skies Snowmen stand with blind eyes Children play in hat and scarves While inside fires blaze in hearths
Rooms are decked in tinsel and holly Decorating festivities warm and jolly In icy streets carollers are singing In shops cash tills are ringing Children look forward with feverish excitement To unwrapping presents and party merriment
Yet among all the seasonal fun We must remember one special Son And show others the danger Of losing sight of the manger.
