Faith & Worship Unit 6 - examples

Imagine by Tracy Street

Imagine.
Imagine a place.
Is it near?
Is it far?
Is it big?
Is it small?
Is it warm?
Is it cold?
Is it wet?
Is it dry?
God is there.
Think.
Think of space.
Is it dark?
Is it bright?
Are there stars?
Can you see planets?
Or is it empty and lonely?
Is it what you've read about?
Or into the unknown?
God made what you know and more besides.
Feel.
Feel that emotion, sensation, whatever.
Is it good?
Is it bad?
Does it make you happy?
Or maybe sad?
Can you count how many?
God knows about all of them.
Smell.
Aroma.
Have you smelt it before?
Where do you remember it from?
Does your mouth water?
Or is your nose wrinkled up?
Flowers?
Perfume?
Food?
Fresh air?
Something you'd rather not share?
God made them all, and memories to store.
Smile.
Your face looks lovely like that.
What makes you happy?
What brings you joy?
God wants you to enjoy every day of your life.
Cry.
Shed a tear.
Emotions can heal.
Emotions can hurt.
God loves you and the rest of humankind too.
God promises to wipe every tear from your eye.
An arrow.
A signpost.
A map and compass.
You are here.
God is everywhere.
